The SAN FELIPE CANCER WALK is a project begun by two local (cancer surviving) women who had a good idea. As the news of their project spread, they were quickly joined by others, including cancer survivors, and a Steering Committee was formed.
The SAN FELIPE CANCER WALK is a FUND RAISING PROJECT to benefit poor local Mexican residents, including those who cannot read or write, with no or insufficient health insurance to provide for their cancer treatment.
The SAN FELIPE CANCER WALK is a 2-kilometer (1.3 miles) opportunity FOR YOU to help men, women and children you've never met.
OUR 2ND ANNUAL CANCER WALK WAS CONDUCTED ON MARCH 8 and attended by an estimated 750 walkers. Denny Flannigan hosted the post-walk cereminies, which included music, our Silent Auction and fabulous food prepared and served my Rosalina Sosa and her family.

The SFCW also conducts an annual LIVE AUCTION of merchandise provided by local merchants, as well as local Mexican, American and Canadian residents, who care about San Felipe's CANCER VICTIMS. Our LIVE AUCTION is conducted at the Malecón on "Walk Day."
