CHAIRPERSON: MARY LEE JONES

The purpose of this committee is to solicit Emergency Transportation for Walk participants who, for any reason, must drop out of the walk but who want to participate in after-Walk activities.

• Solicit and train volunteers to serve on this committee.
• Identify and solicit from local volunteers the requisite number of vehicles to be placed along the Cancer Walk route and used to transport paid Cancer Walk participants identified as “no longer capable of continuing the walk” to the Malecón Bandstand area and, at the conclusion of Bandstand Activities, return those persons, if desired, to the Arches parking area.
• Receive from the Municipal Services Committee and display special passes for each Emergency Transportation Vehicle.
• Solicit and accept bus transportation from and to El Dorado Ranch for all "EDR" persons desirous of participating in the current Cancer Walk.
• Prepare and submit to the Steering Committee a Lessons Learned Report to facilitate next year's Cancer Walk preparation.
